'SHOUT'
NT Connections 2024

JK Acting Platform
Performance: Friday 22nd March 2024 @ 7pm
St Paul’s Catholic College, Burgess Hill

ABOUT THE PLAY
“If you don’t shout, and scream, and make your mark, then how do you get heard?”

In a world full of words, how can Dana survive when she can’t speak? Dana has selective mutism, but that doesn't stop her vivid imagination. Who we are is not just defined by the noise we make. Shout is a funny, moving play about anxiety, celebrating differences, and finding your voice.

A play that wonders what exactly it takes to overcome anxiety and mental health issues as a young person.

NT CONNECTIONS
‘Shout’ is presented as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival which brings together some of the country’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow.

"Can I just say thank you for all your kindness and support. (The children) all have their own needs and
all are treated as individuals and embraced. So a huge thank you to all of you who are
so kind, creative and special people."
